Assistant Professor of Medical Education, School of Medicine
Chris is an assistant professor of medical education at the Loma Linda University School of Medicine. She joined the Simulation Center with a background in medical technology, social science and human factors engineering. Holding a doctoral degree in social policy & social research she taught graduate courses in social science and served as a doctoral program director in the School of Behavioral Health. Chris recently completed a post-doctoral fellowship in human factors engineering at the Center for Research and Innovation in Systems Safety (CRISS) at Vanderbilt University. Her research interests include team cognition and decision-making, the development of expertise, resilience engineering, and patient/family caregiver engagement.
In her free time she enjoys hiking, tennis and conflict mediation.
