In January 2026, the State of Ohio formally recognized Kettering Health as an official regional campus for Loma Linda University School of Medicine clinical training. The partnership reinforces a shared commitment to whole person care as a central component of accredited medical education.

Students complete their first- and second-year studies in Loma Linda, California before having the opportunity to continue their clinical training in Ohio. Through the agreement, medical students may select the Seventh-day Adventist healthcare system for their required third- and fourth-year clinical rotations as they pursue a Doctor of Medicine degree.
