The 2nd annual Competitive Specialties Dinner was held in Wong Kerlee International Conference Center at Loma Linda University on Sunday, November 19, in partnership with Loma Linda chapter of the Association of Women Surgeons, the Student National, Medical Association, the Latino Medical Student Association and the Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association.
Medical students from historically underrepresented backgrounds had the opportunity to connect with residency program directors, attendings and residents from a variety of specialties, including Neurosurgery, Dermatology, Anesthesiology, Ophthalmology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Otolaryngology (ENT surgery), combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, Orthopedic Surgery, Surgical Oncology, and Vascular Surgery.
