Dear prospective applicant:
Thank you for your interest in our fully accredited integrated plastic surgery residency training program beginning at the PGY-1 level. These positions are designed for the exceptional medical students.
The LLU Department of Plastic Surgery participates in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Please submit your application through ERAS. We do not accept ANY application materials through the mail.
When soliciting your letters of recommendation, please note that we require a minimum of two reference letters. Your letters must be from faculty members who have direct contact with you as a medical student during your clinical training. Examples of such individuals would be clinical clerkship coordinators or directors of preceptorships. We prefer at least one of the letters be written by an individual in a surgical discipline.
A two- or four-week senior elective in plastic and reconstructive surgery is available with our division. If you are interested in an elective, please contact Kristian Braun in the Loma Linda University surgery education office at 909-558-4982.
