Diversity Events and Programs

In February 2021, a special photography exhibit was curated by Hazel Ezeribe, MS4 and Mitchell Prins, MS4. The gallery featured 20 students and two LLU residents, with each individual wearing their own unique style. Each individual portrayed shared a small part of their story in a personalized statement or in a quote that resonated with them.

Recognizing the contributions and presence of Hispanic and Latino American medical professionals. Event is held in fall.

Service to others is at the heart of what we do in the School of Medicine. Our mission trips and community engagement programs help us build a better future by impacting lives here at home and abroad.

The Center supports research projects and student training programs, and engages our community in addressing health and educational inequalities.

Offers first-year minority medical students an opportunity to gain research and scientific experience in health disparities.
