Loma Linda University Health System
Loma Linda University School of Medicine serves as an integral part of the Loma Linda University Health System. The Health System comprises six hospitals and 850 faculty physicians. This integrated model provides access to the highest quality of health care service. The faculty physicians represent a broad spectrum of specialties from primary care to subspecialty care and are employed in Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group.
The affiliated institutions of the health system serve as the tertiary medical facility for inland Southern California; it is the only Level I regional trauma center for Inyo, Mono, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties. Approximately 1.5 million patients receive care from the health system each year.
The Health System includes Loma Linda University Medical Center, Loma Linda University Children's Hospital, Loma Linda University Behavioral Medicine Center, Loma Linda University Medical Center East Campus, Loma Linda University Heart & Surgical Hospital, and Loma Linda University Medical Center – Murrieta
Loma Linda University Health System provides education venues for more than 1,200 medical students, residents, and fellows.
The School of Medicine is also affiliated with other major teaching hospitals in our area, including Jerry L. Pettis Memorial VA Medical Center, Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, and Riverside County Regional Medical Center.
