Alumni Association Paying it Forward Scholarship

The Alumni Association Paying It Forward Scholarship (AAPIFS) is designed to assist junior and senior medical students who are actively involved in their class, the school, or the broader community by providing them with a 50% tuition and fees scholarship for one academic year.
James Alfred Smith Deferred Appointment Scholarship Fund This scholarship is being awarded to provide scholarship assistance to Black African American students who are members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church enrolled in the School, and intend on serving in a Seventh-day Adventist Mission hospital in a developing country outside of the United States.  
SM Alumni Fund Student Loan and Scholarship This scholarship is being awarded to provide financial assistance while enrolled in the School of Medicine.
Dr. David B. and Sherry L. Cotton Scholarship This scholarship is being awarded to a student in good standing in the MD program at the School of Medicine.
Leslie and Cora Low Endowed Scholarship Fund This scholarship is being awarded to provide financial assistance while enrolled in the School of Medicine.
Lam Family Scholarship Fund This scholarship is being awarded to provide financial assistance while enrolled in the School of Medicine. Special consideration for students with a Chinese cultural background.
Rudolf W. and Willette D. Hack Foreign Medical Student Scholarship Endowment Fund This scholarship is awarded to a student from Southeast Asia, and who has demonstrated strong intentions of returning to Southeast Asia to practice medicine.  
Terry Moores Canadian Scholarship Fund This scholarship provides assistance for full-time students that are Canadian citizens or those who have lived in Canada.
Leroy A. Miller Scholarship Fund This scholarship fund provides assistance for Canadian medical students.
Dr. Anthony Shin Korean-American Scholarship Fund This scholarship is to provide assistance to a Korean-American student who has shown academic excellence and commitment to the University's mission "To make man whole." 
Evard Family Memorial Scholarship Endowment Fund This grant is to provide financial assistance to students in good standing. Although the scholarship is considered a gift, the recipient, as a token of appreciation for the help is give, is encouraged in turn to contribute to the Fund when and if his or her financial situation permits.
Scandinavian Scholarship Fund The purpose of this fund is to provide scholarship assistance to students enrolled in the School who are of Scandinavian descent.
Doug and Dee Wacker Scholarship Endowment Fund This scholarship is being awarded to provide financial assistance while enrolled in the School of Medicine.
Greg Watkins Memorial Endowed Scholarship This scholarship is for students interested in neuroscience research and/or radiology.
LLUSM Medical Auxiliary Scholarship  Students must have high academic standing, financial need, exhibit qualities of leadership and service to others, and be a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
