Get Noticed with Practical Research Experience at Loma Linda University's Center for Health Disparities and Molecular Medicine
Loma Linda University's Undergraduate Training Program (UTP) is a nine-week summer research internship for undergraduate college and university students.
The internship focuses on giving students practical lab research experience alongside distinguished faculty, while providing mentorship in support of their future academic and research goals.
The program supports our mission to eliminate health disparities and increase the number of basic biomedical and physician scientists from diverse backgrounds involved in research.
More than 230 undergraduate students have participated in Loma Linda University's UTP program since 2001 representing colleges and universities across the nation. Our students consistently go on to pursue their studies at Loma Linda University or other top tier universities around the country.
We’re proud to offer a program that consistently attracts top underrepresented minority students from around the country and invite you to learn more about how the UTP can help increase your competitive advantage when applying for PhD or MD/PhD programs.
